CALEB Shortlist 2012

My heart was pounding fit to jump out of my chest as I opened an email tonight from Omega Writers Inc with the shortlist for the 2012 awards! Gulp. Stressful things, competitions. But I was so thrilled to read that Where the Crickets Sing has been shortlisted in both the non-fiction section and the children’s book section. (Not sure if the two listings are a mistake). A real thrill. 🙂 So I’ll bask in the thrill of it for a few weeks and then face the same heart-pounding moment when the finalists are announced later in the month.
