The Most Rewarding Moments

This morning I spent some time reading through the journal that I kept for Samuel from conception onward – it was like being back there, watching my precious boy growing up, and remembering all the cute things he used to say. When he was asked at Kindy what was something that made him happy, he said, “Seeing my mummy makes me happy.’
Anyway I found a quote that I’d written in his journal when I returned home from an overseas concert, so happy to be back with Chris and my babies.
“For me, the most rewarding moments have not always been the great moments; for what can surpass a tear on your departure, joy on your return, and a trusting hand in yours. ” Sir Edmund Hillary.
Nothing beats being with family – not even climbing Mount Everest.
