I had my ultrasound scan yesterday. It showed that the tendons are all okay, but there are signs of ligament damage. So I have to wait now for my specialist appointment and for him to organize an MRI. I guess I’m one step closer to sorting… things out.

This morning I spent some time reading through the journal that I kept for Samuel from conception onward – it was like being back there, watching my precious boy growing up, and remembering all the cute things he used to say. For a while now I’ve wanted to write a post and introduce you to a few of my new friends. It’s been four months since Mum was admitted to Selwyn Park Hospital and I’ve been here pretty much every day for at least- three or four hours. I’ve got to know and love so many of the residents.

I found a box in Mum’s room the other day full of little notes from Dad. We’ve been looking through them together. Some of them made me cry. Mum has said I can share them with you. 🙂 I know Dad wouldn’t mind me sharing a couple of things that give a beautiful glimpse into his relationship with Mum.
