It’s been an exciting week. On the 20th, Chris and I finally reached the end of our block laying. We started five months ago, and have laid close to 5,000 blocks. It’s been slow going with just the two of us, but we’ve got there. Block by block. Our son, Josiah, took a photo of us as we laid the very last block, and then Chris and I had a celebratory waltz in our ‘lounge’. Now, we have the top storey to look forward to. Both of us are happy to move onto some wood work for a change. And now we also have our oldest son working with us, since he’s finished his studies for the year. Yay!
It makes me realise that you can achieve a lot when you work at something bit by bit, block by block. A bit like raising kids!!!
