Jeremiah – Do not say…

Hi, I’m Rosie Boom. In Jeremiah chapter 1, the Lord says to Jeremiah, “Do not say, ‘I am only a child.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.

We all have excuses that we throw up when the Lord asks us to do something. We might be too young, too old, not talented enough, not intelligent enough, not bold enough, no good at public speaking—the list could go on and on. But his word to us is, “Do not say…”

There are certain things God wants us to stop saying. We need to remind ourselves that if he has called us, he will be with us and will equip us with everything we need to do his will.
