This Friday I’m heading to Brisbane for a long weekend to attend the Word Writers Fair. On the Friday night is the Awards dinner for the CALEB book awards. Where Arrows Fly is one of three finalists in the children’s section. That’ll be a nerve-wracking night! Last year Where Lions Roar at Night won the children’s section – a very exciting moment for me. 🙂
Then on the Saturday I’m doing a workshop and also speaking on a panel, as well as attending some of the other workshops. Saturday night is a book launch; Sunday morning I’m singing at the Wynnum Baptist Church; Sunday afternoon I’m attending a masters class for fiction writing. So it’s going to be a full on, exciting weekend!
