Just a quick post about my daughter Eliza. She is in the last month of a post grad diploma in opera studies. On Monday night I had the joy of hearing her compete in the North Shore Aria competition, and the thrill of seeing her win! $5000 is a great bonus to a student!

And the other big news is that she has been selected as one of ten semi-finalists from New Zealand, the UK and Australia for the IFAC Australian Singing Competition in late June. And Chris and I are going to go over there to support her (Brava, darling!!!) and also catch up with some of my family over there. Can’t wait.
