I’ve just been given a beautiful little bouquet of daisies, buttercups and dandelions by Jacob, my 7 year old son. He also handed me a card with flowers drawn on it and the message, ‘I hope you like they’s flowers Mum! Love Jake.’
As he hugged me, I told him, “Jacob, you’ve made my day!” And I meant it.
